ETDP SETA programme Approval
« on: August 18, 2015, 11:50:35 AM »
Been experiencing major issues with programme approval through the ETDP SETA, despite 3 complaint letters to their ETQA manager the past two years.

I’m I the only person?

I recently spoken to one of the developers in Durban who deals with several clients who also confirmed this.

On the moment there seems to be two different people doing programme approval, and they not working in the same office.

-Feedback is half, not as per the given guidelines of the ODTP Qualifications, offered and managed by the same SETA.
-Programmes and documents constantly seems to be going missing and we never get the original programmes back anymore.
-No-one seems to be reading our response letters on re-submissions.
-“Improved Facilitator Guides” – Our facilitator guide is thicker than the actual learner guide, but still they want improvements. All I can add is “toilet breaks”.
-“Declaring of learner competent/Not yet competent on Observations”. We should only declare a learner once competent/not yet competent, but it seems like the ETDP SETA wants us to do it now on each instrument.

I’m I the only person with these issues?
