Historical Qualifications registration
« on: January 18, 2019, 09:09:59 PM »
Does anyone have experience of trying to use qualifications that are deemed historical?
I did N1, N2 and N3 in 1986 to 1989 and although I still have the original certificates,  I can't use them because they're not on the NLRD.   Apparently not qualifications before 1992 exist as far as SAQA, Qasa,  Umalusi etc are concerned.
It took me two years of phone calls and emails to finally ascertain that all these records are in the archive of the DHET and they are happy to give me a copy BUT they have no system in place to upload it onto the NLRD.
I've done an assessors course and I need to be able to use my qualifications with it - does anyone have any ideas that could help me ?

Have you tried SAQA and the process for foreign qualifications conversions?
