TRAINING PROVIDER FRAUD! Warning to all members

Increasing number of fraudulent cases reported in the Training Industry the past 6 months. We urge again all members to follow the guidelines for first time learners on our website.

Fraudulent cases reported to date:

*Training Companies with miss-leading advertising. (Sounds like accredited training but it's not.)
*Training Companies not stating the supporting structures or after support in writing.
*Individuals who claim to work for Leading Training Companies with hidden agenda's or false representation.
*Individuals who specialises in project/tender scams. (group and corporate bookings = http://www.google.co.za the persons name and check for references)

GOLDEN RULES:

  • *Phone the SETA or check their website to check accreditation. (Not with the Training Company)
*Ask the ETQA Manager on the success rate and feedback received from the Training Provider.
*Google the company, check for a valid website and confirm with them directly. (confirm the contact details is the same as advertised on their website)
*Ask for a valid reference. (Previous company they trained or used)
It could save you thousands and lots of effort...........
